At the monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023:
A new PR/Communications Officer position was proposed to be created and Alicia Morici was nominated to fill this role, to be voted on by members present at the next meeting on Monday, December 11, 2023.
The PTO Exploratory Committee was created and Britney Niforos was appointed chair. Their purpose will be to evaluate if moving the organization from a PTA to a PTO is the appropriate path and if so, what next steps will be.
The Communications Committee was created and Alicia Morici was appointed chair. Their purpose will be to improve communications with members, schools and district families across all available channels.
Teresa Bushey was nominated to fill the currently vacant officer position of Vice President, pending appointment by the Executive Board.
