Join the Gloversville Elementary PTA at our June Meeting on June 10th at 6pm at the Boulevard Library to be a part of finalizing plans for the remainder of this school year and looking forward to programs for next year. All are welcome, even if you aren't a member yet!

    • All of the teacher volunteers for supporting the t-shirt sorting event

    • Lori and Kelly for representing the PTA at the Kindergarten screening 

    • The PT custodian team for ensuring that the shirts all got delivered across the schools 

    • Everyone for ALL of the support within the unit this year to have us ending the year in a positive manner

  • Park Terrace:

    • April Attendance= 89% on a goal of 90%...1st grade leading at 92%

    • PBIS:  Focus on sportsmanship as they gear up for field day

    • Bowling trip at Perry Lanes 

    • Book Fair/Art show: 5/7

    • Kindergarten Screening:  5/21

  • Kingsborough:  

    • Attendance= 91.2%..been trending up 1% since winter recess

    • 26 days until summer starting soon

    • Getting ready for 1st & 2nd grade field trips

    • Field Day at Kings.

    • Combining picnic day with field day

    • Kindergarten Screening 5/13-5/15

    • Ice Cream Social/Science Fair/ Book Fair= 5/9

District Budget Report:

  • $74.9 mill. Budget proposal…vote is 5/21 11am-8pm

    • Reassuming Transportation from HFM BOCES

      • 20 drivers from BOCES + 26 current

      • Field Trip Support

      • More shuttle services 

    • Add second SRO Position to district

  • Reach out to business office for questions, flyers being mailed to homes

Fundraising:

  • Car Wash promotion

    • Class Auto Car Wash/ month of June/ promo code for $2 off platinum wash and PTA gets $5 every time the code is used 

  • Can & Bottle Drive

    • Drop off cans & bottles at the redemption center in Gloversville 

    • Have boxes at PT & KB

Since Last Meeting:

  • Chalk day cancelled because of the rain & after school program supported

      • They donated funds to pick up the field trips for this current school year
