Adventures in Reading Kickoff Event on April 1st

We so excited to kick off our April reading program, Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) with this event on April 1st!

Elementary adventurers, grab your explorer hat, pick a reading partner, and prepare for a month full of stories to remember!

We will have guest readers hosting story time for the kids, along with snacks, and tons of free books to keep them reading all month long.

Also just for Parents/Caregivers: While the kids are listening to stories, there will be a special presentation just for you by the NYS Regional Family & Community Engagement Center Session for families to learn more about “Building Reading Skills at Home” including Explicit Vocabulary Instruction, focusing on the importance of reading and sharing practical tips and best practices.

Each event attended also earns 50 points for your class!
