WITH THE NEW YEAR COMES A FRESH START FOR OUR PTA!
We are excited to officially introduce some new, but familiar, faces to our team and hope their enthusiasm and energy will bring our members and community together to renew the PTA mission: To be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.
President, Rebecca Putman
Rebecca has been a part of the Gloversville Elementary PTA for many years and has served on the Executive Board in several different roles. In her first year as President, she has been instrumental in getting our house in order and laying a solid foundation for future growth.
Vice President, Teresa Bushey
Teresa is new to the PTA this year and brings renewed energy for improving the organization, doing more to support our scholars and truly partner with our schools. She has an ability to bring people together and empower them to use their own strengths to make things happen.
Treasurer, Melissa Hally
Melissa is an integral part of our school community with experience on both sides of the aisle. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for education to the table and we are excited to see what we can accomplish with her on our team.
Secretary, Sarah Pillo
Sarah may be new to the PTA, but she is an involved member of our community and a natural leader. Sarah is always ready to lend a hand and she is thoughtful, proactive and knows how to get things done. There is nothing we can't do with Sarah to keep us on track.
Membership + Communications Chair, Alicia Morici
Alicia has stepped up her involvement this school year to a more formal role with the goals of improving communication, transparency and community involvement. She always looking for ways to help and can be counted on to assist getting projects to the finish line.
